AsHead of Purchasing & Materials Management (m/f/d), youwill take ona central interface role in our medium-sized industrial company. You will be responsible for purchasing and materials management within the LKE Group and will coordinate all matters relating to procurement and internal material flows. You will optimize materials management using your experience from previous positions, and in purchasing you will be supported by an experienced team with a purchasing team leader. Together, you will manage the operational and strategic purchasing of technical products and materials, while also having overall responsibility for materials management. For us, leadership means not only organization and planning, but also active participation in day-to-day business when the situation requires it.

- Overall responsibility for the operational and strategic purchasing of technical materials and components together with an experienced purchasing team
- Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers, including those outside Germany, with a focus on long-term partnerships
- Ensuring timely availability of materials for production and assembly
- Close cooperation with production, engineering, and management
Materials management & internal logistics
- Responsibility for the entire internal material flow from goods receipt to provision
- Active participation in goods receipt and materials management
- Development of practical storage, warehousing, and labeling concepts
- Organization and optimization of storage areas, inventories, and relocation processes
- Implementation of improvement measures directly on site – from concept to actual implementation
- Ensuring order, transparency, and efficient processes in the warehouse area

- Completed technical or commercial training, ideally with further training in purchasing or logistics
- Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, preferably in medium-sized industrial companies and ideally with initial management responsibility
- Practical knowledge of materials management and warehousing
- Clear hands-on mentality and understanding of the realities of a medium-sized company
- Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Confident negotiating skills and strong communication skills at all levels
- Willingness to travel, including internationally if necessary
- Confident use of ERP systems, knowledge of production planning systems and MS Office also welcome
