Case study
R6+ MK II Modular Platform Trolley
Modular platform trolleys with R6+ Mk II running gear
These platform trolleys feature the new Mk II running gear and can be custom-built to your specifications, allowing the trolleys to be tailored specifically to your production processes.
Key facts
Thanks to the new pendulum axle, the trolleys are also capable of negotiating ramps. To enable optimal manufacturing processes, the fixed castors can be folded up, allowing for easy manual movement across the width. Compared to the original R6+, speeds of up to 12 km/h are now possible on straight sections, and cornering stability has been significantly improved.
R6+ MKII RUNNING GEAR WITH FIXED CASTORS
When the trolleys are not coupled together, the fixed castors can be raised using a pedal, allowing the trolleys to be moved freely and sideways.
MODULAR DESIGN
Adapt the trolleys with their modular design precisely to your production processes. We would be happy to develop and manufacture bespoke versions for your specialised applications.
RAMP-COMPATIBLE (UP TO 5°)
Thanks to the two fixed castors in the centre of the trolley, it is not only tugger-train-compatible but also ramp-compatible. When the drawbar is lowered to couple the trolleys, the fixed castors automatically lower to ensure constant contact with the ground. Thanks to its special design, the R6+ Mk II can negotiate ramps with an angle of up to 5°.
OPTIONAL ACCESS
A recess can be configured in the mesh floor on the side. This creates an access point that allows you to stand closer to the load and load and unload it ergonomically and safely.
OPTIONAL FORKLIFT BLADE GUIDES
Thanks to the protected forklift blade guides, which can be fitted to the R6+ Mk II as an option, the trolley is stackable on top of itself when empty. This proves to be a major advantage, particularly when transporting the trolleys or storing them. Furthermore, the trolley can also be lifted whilst loaded, for example onto shelves or onto lorries.
