I completed my training as an industrial clerk at LKE in 2010 and was then taken on directly as a sales assistant. During my training, I got to know and appreciate every department in the company. Even back then, I liked the family atmosphere and the company’s wide range of services.

When I suddenly fell ill at the end of 2014, it was impossible to think about a regular working life for a long time. But when I received a part-time job offer from LKE in 2021, that was the next step I could take. Thanks to my helpful team, I quickly regained access to the work processes and products. I now have my own area of responsibility again, where, thanks to my flexible working hours model, I can contribute creatively and independently alongside physiotherapy and visits to the doctor.

My name is Sophie H. I have been part of the LKE team since 2015. After six months of temporary work, I was taken on as a permanent employee. In Grossenhain, I am the link between employees and the HR department and the first point of contact for visitors. Collecting documents is just as much a part of my job as writing invoices and preparing for meetings. So far, I can say that no two days have been the same.

My name is Kai K. and I started working for LKE GmbH in June 2021 in the Customer Service Team department via a temporary employment agency.

I support the CST in its daily tasks, such as preparing quotations and orders and answering and forwarding telephone inquiries.

Although I was employed by a temporary employment agency, I was always seen as a permanent part of LKE thanks to my commitment.

This also led to me being offered permanent employment by LKE in March 2022.

My name is Waldemar N. I’ve been working at LKE in Marl since November 2011, so I’ve been here for a whole 10 years. I started out as a warehouse specialist and over the years I have worked in the warehouse, production and dispatch departments. I am currently employed as a clerk in the technical office and am mainly responsible for dispatch. I am always very happy when everything has been dispatched or registered with the shipping company at the end of the day. I chose this industry back then because I was particularly interested in logistics. That’s exactly what I found at LKE and I still appreciate it today.

The work at LKE is very varied and challenging.

My name is Marcus T., I am 34 years old and have been part of the LKE team since August 2019. I was warmly welcomed in the company and especially in the technical office. The first step was to familiarize myself with quality assurance. In order to provide the team with optimum support, training was extended to the areas of work preparation and costing.

Thanks to my many years of experience in the field of welding and my training as an international welding specialist, I have also been employed as a welding supervisor in the company since May 2021.

It’s not always easy to juggle everything as the father of a small family with a toddler. However, in the event of problems or appointments with the child, an optimal solution is always found quickly for everyone.
